🤝 Subject–Verb Agreement

The verb and the person must be friends: The cat sleeps. The cats sleep. One gets an -s, many do not.

📖 Teacher explanation: The verb must match its subject. Singular subjects (he, she, it, the cat) take -s verbs; plural subjects (they, the cats) take plain verbs.

✨ Example

The dog barks. The dogs bark.
